ake out all the accessories and clean the parts of the slo w juicer thoroughly
e using it f or the rst time (see chapter “Cleaning”).

Assembling the slo w juicer (fig. 2)
Make sur e the sealing ring is rmly inserted into the juice collect or .
If the seal ing ring on the juice collect or is aging or damaged, replac e it with the
backup sealing ring.
There is a rubber pad underneath the juice c ollector . Before using the
e sure it is rml y plugg ed in to a void leakage or pre ven t
the pulp outlet fr
om getting blocked.
Align the indications on the sie ve (
) and the one on the juice col
and then put the siev
e into the juic e collector .
Place the driving shaft into the sie ve.
Place the lid on to the juice col lector . T urn the lid clockwise until the
) on the juice coll ector and on the lid ar e aligned.
Align the indications (
) on the juice collect or and the ma in unit
ely . Then, insert the juice coll ector in to the main unit.
Put the pulp container and juice jug under the spouts respectiv ely .
Using the sl o w juicer (fig. 3)
Never insert y our ng ers or an object int o the feeding tube.
When the appliance is st opped and cannot automatical ly rev erse, turn the control
knob to the o position “O”
. Then, turn the c ontrol knob to the r ev erse position
to clear the ingredients fr om the appliance. T urn the control knob to “I” ag ain
to use the applianc
e. If it is still bl ocked, clean the driving shaft and remov e food
residues in it befor
e y ou re-use aga in. This is to pr otect the applianc e.
The appliance will only function if all parts ha ve been pr operly assembled and the
lid has been properly
lock ed in place with the juice col lector .
Cut the ingredients int o pieces that t into the feeding tube.
For HR1882, the coarse siev e is more suitable t o juice soft fruits or veg etables such
as tomatoes and berries.
During processing, the appliance ma y vibrate sligh tly . This is normal.
Do not ex ert too much pressur e on the pusher , as this could aect the quality of the
end result and it c
ould even cause the sieve to come to a hal t.
T o prev ent juice fr om dripping onto the table, insert the drip-pr oof plug int o the juice
e moving the juic e jug from under the juice outlet.
Drink the juice immediatel y aft er you ha ve extr acted it. If it is exposed to air for some
time, the juice loses its taste and nutritional
Use fresh fruit and v egetables, as they contain mor e juice. Fruits lik e apples, pears,
pineapples, grapes, pomegranat
es, oranges and melons, and vegetables l ike carr ots,
cucumbers, tomatoes, c
elery stalks ar e suitable for proc essing in the slow juicer .
When juicing a large amount of hard fruits or v egetables such as carrots, c elery
stalks and spinach, the rubber
pad on the juice collect or might be pushed open,
and the appliance might be block
ed. T o help avoid the situa tion, cut the fruits or
o small cubes or piec es.
Remov e thick peels, e.g. those of pineapples, oranges and pomegrana tes. Y ou do
e to r emov e thin peels or skins.
If you want to juice fruits with stones, such as peach, plum or cherry , remov e the
The slow juicer is not suitable for processing v ery har d and/or brous or starch y
vegetables such as sugar cane. Fruits that contain star ch, such as bananas,
as, av ocados, gs and mangoes are also not suitabl e for processing in the
juicer . Use a food proc essor or bl ender to pr ocess these fruits.
Cleaning (fig. 4)
Before cl eaning, make sur e the appliance is swit ched o and the sie ve has stopped
Never use scouring pads, abrasiv e cleaning agents or aggressive l iquids such as
ol or acet one to clean the appl iance.
Never immerse the motor unit in w ater nor rinse it under the tap.
Do not clean the siev e with y our hands to a vo id getting cut. Use the pro vided brush
